The Atlantic Surfing Federation, Headquartered on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, is a newly formed, competitive surfing organization on the east coast, originating from a group of enthusiastic, highly skilled, and informed directors, who share a common vision. This vision encompasses a modern, progressive amateur surfing program with competitive uniformity. Currently, there are Chapters in New York, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.
The ASF is aimed specifically toward surfers on the East Coast, offering top level competitors a track to the Surfing America Prime Series, and the Surfing America USA Championships, and PacSun USA Surf Team, while maintaining the fun, family stoke for participants of all ages and abilities.
The overall objective of the ASF is to provide a platform that is positive, educational, and consistent from chapter to chapter. This offers the ASF membership an opportunity to enjoy the sport of surfing, infinite developmental opportunities, and a distinct and fair path to national status and beyond.
The NY NJ Chapter is under the direction of Rick Anthony. Contests are scheduled throughout the year, please check back to this page and to the forums at www.NYNJSurf.com/forum for announcements.
